Reflection
Getting my mouth ready for the first sound helps me because: I know the word
It was really hard when: I have to read like talking
Something that really helped me was: playing race the pen with Julie

Race the pen has helped you to read fast and your reading is really starting to sound like talking! It is tricky when you don't know the words so using the pictures and getting your mouth ready for the first sound helps you to work them out. When you keep on practising and read your stories lots of times, your reading is more fluent (it sounds like talking).

We are really proud of the improvement you have made in reading this term Isaac. I think looking at the initial sounds on those tricky words will be another big milestone when you achieve it.
